I simply loathe assignments... They are totally dragging me down...Deadlines are drawing near and soon enuf I'm gonna be literally DEAD...Y can't I just go to uni, mark the attendance (though they are not compulsory at all), sit for exams and at the end of the day, get that piece of blardy paper. Geez, wishful thinking. I totally have no motivation in doing my assignments, HOW??! Just counting the no. of days to finish my sem and the next one and "Waaalaaaah I'm done, baybeh!!"
Over the years here, I've met a no. of ppl...Some of whom I would call 'Friends' or simply just acquittances; more like a friend's friend whom I happen to meet up for certain occassion. And sadly I would say, most ppl that I've known are just a passing phase for me. I'm not selective when it comes to befriending ppl but there're some ppl u simply can't click (no matter how hard u try to blend in with em') and u just have to put a facade in front of them. "Y bother mixing such ppl?" one would ask. Let's just put it as formality sake... Simply to say, they are not worth keeping and what's more worth remembering...
Totally random entry~heh.
She came, she saw, she left...

Weekends were a blast.
Sat: "Fairytales & Villians". Any day of the month can be Halloween here n people really dressed up according to the theme. The club is really at some dodgy plc macam those clubs in psycho thrillers show. heh.
Me being the al-cheapo obviously couldn't be bothered to spend so much to play dress up.
Witch hat, nails n fangs: $3.30 only leyyy from some Cheena shop here![]()
Lace top: $2 from Camberwell Market
Veil: $5 from Spotlight
For always looking good, sexy and seductive: Priceless. And for anything else there's always the Mastercard n Visa or even the Bacin.LOL.
Sun: Met up wif Cik Sabariah (she's actually young but I call her "Cik" since she's my mum's gd fren's sis) and her adorable son. Went to Southland Mall (besar giler lah) and Frankston Beach which is in Zone 2 &3. We can only afford to go to far, far away places only on Sun since it's only $2.50 for the public transport.
I've been such a slacker here; still in the holiday mood...I better get my arse up to do assignments which are slowly piling up~bleergh!
Next important date: 27th! For some VIP nak datang **throws confetti**

My winter jackets (minus 4).It's gonna be a massive headache to bring em back home!
On another note; with the weather here which can rise up to 43degrees cel; ALWAYS wear a sunscreen or u gonna be chowta (BURN gila lah).
Just gettin BORED to update this monotonous blog of mine...Anws,I'm doin fine downunder albeit slowly gettin insane in this stagnant city. Everyday is just gg out with the gals for coffee and the moolah is flowing out just like water. If this goes on, I'm gonna be broke within a short notice. Well, I've found a place in the city within three days; boy it was MAD trying to get a place to stay within a short while. We found a few crappy places, it's like literally living in shoebox, and the price is waay over our budget. Hence we decided to settle down in a furnished one bedroom loft. Kinda miss the privacy of having my own room and my queen size bed back home
. Oh well, no complains here since my housemate will be here less than 6 mths and staying in the city is soo much more convenient rather than the subs. We can go home as late as possible without having to worry our last ride home. Prolly after the 6-mths lease I'll stay in a studio apt or find someone for me to live with.
Time past so fast and this shall be my final year..Before I left, I had a conversation with the other half... I ask what if I want to prolong my stay here; prolly further my study or even work here. The next thing I knew his eyes were all red. I know sometimes in this r'ship I'm always the selfish one. Don't worry baby, I'll be back soon. Besides there's nothin much here for me to look forward to, well not anymore. U'll soon get tired of the the life here esp when all the loved ones are back home. "Home is where the heart is"...N my heart is always in Singapura (minus the cheena-import~bleeeurgh).
Anws, WELCOME BACK TO SINGAPURA, MY DUBAI BABE, CIK SALMAH AKA SUHBRIENA!!! Y must u be back only when I'm away???!! Saya taknak geng awak okay! Oh, I tried calling ur SG line and even or Dubz line but can't get thru. SO I talked to my madu for a while...heh. Pls hor get a flight to MELBOURNE!!
I dunoe y I'm always cursed wif weird ugly people whenever I'm out all alone. And this is not the first time. Weird, ugly and not forgetting old men always try to hit on me whenever I'm alone...And I'm not even dressed in any revealing clothes; just jeans and tank top. When I was 17, I got stalked by this 30 plus yr old Filipino man in the train. He was always there everyday whenever I took the train during my poly days. From random casual conversations, he started to become serious til I hafta change my train ride hours.
When I was 18 ,during my attachment days in Chinatown, I had a mid-age Hongkee customer who would always popped in my office to ask stupid travel arrangement and then kononya show his gratitude to me by shaking my hands. Out of professionalism, obviously I had to shake his hand though how many satisfied customer would actually bother to give an eager hand shake??! And it doesn't stop there, he would call my office everyday til I had to tell my colleagues, if any man by the name of Peter called, just say I'm away (I still remember his name up til now coz he's damn annoying)...It still doesn't help that I gave him a cold shoulder. He resorted to sending me basket of flowers, chocolates, bird's nest soup and even hand moisturiser. Honestly, I wasn't even flattered by his gestures and everyday I dragged to go to the office all thanks to him. But my x-colleagues loved the so called entertainment cos I ended up giving the gifts to em.
And the story doesn't end there. After I graduated from poly, I was lucky enough to get a perm job in a short period at Orchard road. And there I thought I would'nt have to encounter chikopeh men. But boy I was wrong... An old Eurasian man (he can be a grandfather to me okay) whose office is the same level as mine tried to hit on me; again. Same old story, from random conversation to lunch and dinner invites... And the best part was I once bumped into him wif his wife and his children who was apparently way much younger than me~ Geli! N so I thought I wouldn't encounter perveted men anymore once I left for Melbourne. How I wish! I had the most appaling experience there wif my Lebanese neighbour. I shall not even digress into that further coz I did wrote about him in my previous entry last yr (which I think I've deleted). It still gave me a scary chill just to think about it.
Anyway in case u are wondering what this entry will lead to... I had another "WEIRD" encounter yesterday on Valentine's day. Nvm, that I couldn't be bothered about the whole V'day thinggie; I wasn't even out wif the Bacin. Instead I went out to run some errands. On my way back in the train, one India-mari-who-thinks-he-Sharukh-Khan- or-something, kept scrutinising at me from head to toe. He was standing literally few cm away from me and the way he looked at me like macam nak makan gitu. Seram okay!! N he somemore wanna pass his no. to me. I just gave him a "stoink" face. N before he alighted the train he can somemore waved at me like some old time fren. Even the nyonya beside me noticed and gave him one kind of look. I told the Bacin about the mamak and he can jokingly said that maybe he thought I was a Filipino. Not funny okay!
**Big breath now** Seriously, y must my life be soo "exciting" to encounter such ppl?
Kalau yg hensem2 takpe jugak for eye candy...This is soo not ego-boosting. Maybe I should mandi bunga to buang suay. Anws, I hope my farewell party tonight will turn out fine and pls lor NO MORE WEIRD PPL.
Heh, lame title but I thought it ryhmes though. Boy I love holidays! In fact, any holidays with the Bacin is absolutely FANTABULOUS. I have the GREATEST guy on earth and I'm NEVER gonna trade him for anything else; not only HE paid for all the expenses,he even carried all my shopping stuff while I whine about how tired my feet were from all those walking, my bad sinus,my skin cracking due to the cold weather, my new pimple popping out and blah blah blah. My baybeh is soo sweet coz he really DO take care of me during the trip. He makes sure that I take my medication, constantly checkin out on me whether I'm tired or hungry.Dunoe y I'm soo lembek when it comes to cold weather (even in Melb)~nyeh!
But minus the weather (macam winter in Melb), I love HONG KONG yang takde King Kong. Hong Kong is every true shopper's paradise coz it caters to everyone needs from those high-end designer labels, to funky streetwear, and to those citak-rompak kind. They even have grades for the fakes. The highest grade which they call the "AA" is not cheap leyyy. A fake "AA LV" cost hundreds of dollars...Siao ah, might as well saved a bit more to get the real deal. U need to know the right places to shop or else u gonna cause more major damage to ur pockets. The Bacin already splurged soo much on his kicks but like he said it's all worth it. My only regret is, I should buy more beaded shoes~bleergh! For those considering going to HKG, do bring extra cash coz food and transportation are relatively high and there are temptations everywhere to buy and buy.
Here's what we did for those 6 days ( I seriously think I shld be paid by their Tourism Board for promoting HKG
)
Day 1: Went to the Race-Course. I don't condone hard-core gambling but i guess it's fine to gamble occasionally simply in the name of fun. The Bacin n hommie actually won their first bet but subsequently lose everything coz they just dunoe when to STOP; padan muka!
Day 2:Disneyland. The Bacin initially thought of stayin at their resort but at $400 a nite, we decided to forgo the idea (lebih baik buat shoppin kan??). We loved their rides n esp their breathtaking fireworks. But one major turn-off is their locals. We realised that their locals are really very the jakuneh u noe...Everywhere must run; everywhere want to queue (even when they dunoe what's happening). Their "kiasuism" is worst than us. I actually argued with one of the locals for trying to cut our queue. Dah lah salah, nak gado lagi...So whenever we see a bunch of group and an attraction nearby, we'll be saying: "Aaah lari-lari lagi!!!". Tsk, tsk, tsk.
Baby, next yr we go Japan-Disneyland lak can?? heh
Day 3: Ocean Park Theme Park. This place is the so-called Seaworld of HKG. But the animals n rides r kinda mendak lah; maybe due to the new Disneyland. The only justice to the ticket price is the scenic Cable Car ride which overlooks the mountains and the sea.
Day 4& 5: Shopping lah dey! The guys went out clubbing on one of the nights and they swore that they saw Aaron Kwok. Too bad I wasn't there (coz my sinus was killing me) to verify if it's the real McCoy. Anws, Hong Kong shopping are all very specialised. They have one area where u can only find high-end designer items such as Gucci,Prada, etc and another area to serve the al-cheapo like moi. Their shopping centres are also specialised such as one building is solely dedicated to the ladies and the other is just for the guys. Unfortunately,my dear new princess of DXB's flight got annoyingly rejected. Or else,we gonna rampage the whole shopping area down!
Ni je barang yg akak beli; tak banyak sangat lah...Jng jeles ye Cik Salmah~ muahahahaa!
The Bacin's infactuation
Day 6 :"The Peak" Tram Ride. This is something like a rollercoaster tram ride cos the tram brings us up to a very steep cliff where at the peak of the cliff u can have a bird's eye view of HKG & Kowloon city.
N one last thing on why I hate winter ; I cannot berak lah!!! 6 days akaknye taik tak kluar sebab tu muka dan badan teramatlah kembang,,, Okay, unnecessary info here
Thank you for the anniversary gift my dear...U truly are the best thing that have ever happen to me and no one can love me as much as u do. I love u always...Now everybody say AAaaaaawwwwwwwwwww....
Long weekends are around the corner: Gong Xi Fa Cai hor!
Less than 2 days to go....Tralalaaalaaaa. Crossing my fingers,my hands,my legs or whatever that can be crossed Cik Salmah got her flight swap n den we can go for shoppin frenzy!!! As usual, I JUST told the mummy I'm going for another trip **evil laughter**
Babe, if u r back in Shing-cha-pour again kan, mari kita pergi chill-out kat Balcony dan ramai-ramai feelin tai-tai. But I don't understand their unisex toilet lah; takde privacy langsung!
@ Balcony
"Family Affair"
Have a good week ppl while I enjoy my holidaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy...
Aaaahhh I lurve the rainy season ... Seeing the dark skies and the nice cooling weather makes me wanna sleep throughout the day. Wish the Bacin is right in my bed to cuddle-snuggle me, rather than my comforter and batal busyuk ![]()
Anws, for those who love the sun,sea and sand; don't fret coz this rainy season is the perfect reason to be late for any appointment...
"Ooops, sorry for being Iate coz there was a massive traffic jam due to the downpour".
"Blame it on the rain that was fallin', fallin'
Blame it on the stars that did shine at night
Whatever you do don't put the blame on you
Blame it on the rain yeah yeah"
